Sweet Kiss

I watch as you speak and how your mouth moves.
Words spoken fall upon deaf ears.
Sounds muted by the subtle nuances of motion which propel
unheard words in my direction.
Full ripe colors each reflecting diffrent moods, feelings.
I have yet to deciper them all.
But even in natural tone they spin images of long embraces in my mind.
A hundred times over I resist tracing those lines of expression.
A hundred times I've ached at the feel of their touch.
But not to be for it is forbidden.
Oh so tempting to surrender to sealed eyes and a mouth guided by
an imagined path taken in my minds eyes a dozen times over.
A path to a promise land that I can only dream.
Sweet warmth, sweet softness, sweet kiss..
