Let Me Hold You In My Arms

We are separate and alone; we feel so much
compassion we hurt for each other’s touch.
You come over and we hug, it does not seem
like a enough.
You lie in my arms, as you snuggle up to
me, I am assuring you that here I'll always
be.
Your touch is so soft, your skin is next to
me, it is a feeling that has both set us
free.
We begin to kiss, it's so smooth, please don’t
ever move from me, holding you in my arms.
This way, honey, you will never be harmed.
You try to get closer to me, you are so close
Holding you in my arms was a choice I am
glad you chose.
