Cracks of Thunder
The storm seems to take me in and out of sanity
with every crack of thunder I start to wonder
and every strike of lighting nothing seems frightening,
the pound of the rain seems to beckon my name
the shrieks of the wind, always seem to win
the forces of the storm make me feel newly born
