Daddy, Daddy

Daddy just try and pretend you care,
Daddy, where are you? I need you, I'm scared.
Daddy, please save me from these demons inside
The ones that are destroying me and eating me alive.
Daddy, do you love me? I can't see it in your eyes.
Daddy, I need you when all I want is to die.
Daddy, all I want is for you to hug me and say it's okay,
Daddy I know that's something you'll never say,
because Daddy, I'm not perfect but all I can do
Is try not to be a failure, just good enough for you.

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Meanwhile, I greet you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Be blessed.
