Sword of Truth
All should we seek to him for power
your hearts are filled with turmoil
Should we give thanks in this dreaded hour?
I ask you, when to pray?
Grant us the love in our heart,
That mocks no sacred thing, the most high
This Sword of Truth our fathers cursed
He should be your one and King.
Let darkness unto darkness tell
Our soldiers fighting to no prevail,
All our soldiers do in darkness dwell
In this place delivering them death and hell.
I pray for life sent from above
that only he can enculcate now
The most high one can bless and
teach much love
All the tragedy in the world
cannot touch you if you have faith
Act on faith do not negate
I pray these things for my dear friend
to whom I vow to the very end
I will show my love and my faith
never waivering till you come home safe!
