The Mad World

The Mad World..... I want to live peacefully in this world but this mad world never allows me to do so When I wake up in the morning the sun doesn't arise When I go to bed in the night the moon doesn't shine The stars neither twinkle nor do the night birds hover Today, the church bells are ringing for the gay weddings and not for the opposite sex couples when they marry either The dogs and cats are playing cheerfully where as men and women are playing devil games that ending their life in hell The hatred politicians are coming back to power again and again and with their bad ruling, our poor masses are suffering and shedding their tears Today, the deadly weapons are freely available in the market and even the innocent school children are not spared for their life The father wanders at next door and the mother looks at back door wanting out and their children are miserably looking to find the love they're missing at home The music is no more melodious and its lyrics are weird words or meaningless that the dictionary can't even find their meanings. The say love is blind which is true because today its does not matter who comes in or goes out. Is this a mad world that we all are living in today?

We all want to live in a peaceful world, but world leaders with their own agendas prevent this...

Hello Ravi … I must agree with you Ravi. I often worry that humanity is about to crumble like the Roman Empire or we are on the verge of World War Three. There is so much anger and hate - thank you Ravi - Lindsay

This needs to read all over the world, Ravi, you bring to the fore exactly as it is. Since the 80's, every new born, bombarded with the philosophy of a new order, based on power, and driven riches.

This world has never been perfect, and nor will it ever be, Ravi! What I notice most is the eroding of values. @ Regards // paul

ravi, I understand how you feel in this crazy world. But I have had old folks tell me that they believed the young' uns were crazy back in THEIR day. I have gay friends and relatives , so I feel happy for them that they can now marry. Other than that, I get where you are coming from with your poem.

Each generation thinks the next has it wrong. I agree with Jenish, perception makes all the difference. When I see my son and his friends I am very encouraged about the future. Thanks for a poem that caused me to contemplate our world,

Great thought and words.. But anyone's world depends on his/her perception.. Change our perception and change the world you live...

Yes, you point out many things in our lack of commonsense world!

- Ravi my friend, yes you have described our crazy world ... and you have described it as it is   ... a great write ... even if it is terribly sad :) - hugs // Anne-Lise :)

You sure painted a mad world--I hope there is a way out of the chaos you describe, Ravi.

You are so right my friend! It is a mad world. The question is what should and could do about it? Beautifully written dear, Ravi!

This is a very mad world, Ravi, I jointly agree with you. Children should be able to fine love at home. Why have them if one cannot enjoy their beautiful souls. Enjoyed reading your wisdom. Eve
