It's a World of Threes

Past, Present, Future.
They are all Now.
In the disappointing Present,
I desire the unfulfilled Dream of Future,
Yet i am Plagued by memories and comparisons of bittersweet Past.

With the wisdom of Experience
Borne of the poor judgment Past
I Now design new, exciting, self-pleasing dreams of Future,
While Over looking Now's current irritants, absurdities & restraints,
With Avoidant resolve not to repeat Past,
With hoped for, yet cloudy illumination, i pretend the focus of Zen,
Now I endeavor to design Future,
To correctly relive, relearn my self-delusions of Past.

May my Now designed Future Past,
Result in better memories & the fulfillment of easy contentment
All Too be looked back at fondly
In that endlessly, forever moving target:
Past recollections of my soon to be Future Now.

The"a world of threes" leaves no room for coincidence nor strangling regret. It is best to embrace the present, but that's not so easy to achieve. This is one to ponder on, though I think that it will cause a tempest in my mind's heart. Best to you, Debbie! Mikki
