Lullaby Cry

Trampled by torment,
the young girl cries,
as she has no one to sing her a lullaby.
She feels alone, unworthy, unreal,
when the one she loved slipped away,
it was real.
She will have no one to keep her alive,
no one to sing her a lullaby.
Why did it happen...
she refused to say,
refused to talk,
refused to obey.
The emptiness from a loved one had hit her full on,
she is gone like the wind,
and will not carry on.
She will have no one,
to keep her alive,
no one to sing her a lullaby.
She sits undetermined, and faded, unreal,
doesn't feel like herself,
she feels death coming near.
She has no will to carry on...
her sense of reality has started to slip,
so with one smooth motion,
she jumps from a cliff.
She had no one to keep her alive,
no one to sing her a lullaby.
