What to write ... the calm of night,
Feeds my desire to perspire.
For love, my mind moves to you.
Your thoughts, my thoughts
Your words, my tune.
I wait, wonder, will your return,
Bring new things to my mind's concern..
For love, before I sleep, I see,
Your heart of hearts,
My fantasy.
I know this love is more than
That of a sister's or brother's,
It started small, but now I know
This truth, The Ancient Puzzle.
One thing is just, and truly just
An extension of the other.
