Ending a Nigthmare

I’m just done……..
This world, this life…..
I want to die.
In my grave to lie.
This world is going to hell,
In case you can’t tell.
This pain, this strain
It drives me completely insane.
No one really cares,
Or ever really did.
No family to close,
No one loves me the most.
Fake shadow of a,
Imitation life.
Thinking he at least,
At least,
At least,
At least………………………………………
HE WOULD CARE.

I must tell you there have been so many diverse poems shared here at PoetrySoup yesterday and this morning that I am just now being able to read. Each one is a treasure to the poet who wrote it. It is a pleasure to me to be able to read them. I am so happy yours was among the ones I have read today Tara. Love, Carol
