Abuse

It couldn't have been darker
in that little space,
my body screamed in agony
and it seemed to tempt your brain,
when I shoved you away
you only brought more pain
It couldn't have been darker
in that little space,
the man I knew as father
and you had the same face
for all my innocence and childhood
I had to live a lie
to pretend that you did nothing
and you weren't that type

Nichole, this is a very touching subject. Many will read this and relate to this kind of abuse or other forms of abuse. God, bless us all, especially the one's who found the strength in knowing we are not alone..... Congratulations, in Susan's "ABUSE" contest... Goodnight **PD
