The Testing

Reconstruct these bitter endings.
Make some sense of what you've seen.
Carve a hole inside subconscious,
just a viewport to my dreams.
And I know just what you're thinking,
that you can measure me the same,
as another lifetime movie,
just one more secret to remain.
Let's strip me down to nothing.
Analyze my broken skin.
It's not that I'm inflicting,
it's the man I keep within.
And I feel like something's waiting,
it's something I need to see clear.
Something wants me to keep looking,
One more reason to keep me here.
You thought I was a puppet,
for another master's care.
Just another helpless victim,
of my home inside my ears.
And you yelled and screamed so loudly,
that I've been measured to be sane.
You're upset that I'm not crazy.
just one more checkbox to remain.

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Meanwhile, I greet you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Be blessed.
