You Know Best

take it easy take a step back
you never helped me follow through
don' bother asking why
secrets so often lead to lies

every time i try
doubt lingers in my mind
twisting and turning and causing me stress
I never sleep well while knowing

I'm guna regret this
try and erase this
mess
how could i forget that
lessons deserved learn best

trust, don't let it rust to much
these words grow weaker, with every touch
no sense in forging a false pretense
another way to say you're full of it

only in my mind
can i find a piece of mine
yearning deserving simply more
whats so wrong with thinking

I'm guna regret this
try and erase this
mess
how could i forget that
lessons deserved learn best
just turn around
you're lost not found
the secrets out
had enough
of you I've found
hearing your secrets sour my mind
so down your road
a block or so
i can't condone you
you're not like me
I'm blind
But i don't owe you

anything
all but vague

no longer there to your dismay
asking why almost a million ways
I'm hungry for advice
hearing yours don't make me wise

Your lies don't change your fate
i mean you no disgrace
postponing controlling things sure to come
all the while your asking

am i guna regret this
try and erase this
mess
will i ever forget that
lessons deserved learn best

you know best
