Enough

Enough with the lace,
I'm tired of lace
and tired of fairy tales
and broken hearts.
I'm not a princess,
I never could have been,
so enough with these expectations,
these details.
Nothing remains, so why bother
with the details,
this frivolous lace...
Enough about that boy,
enough with this stupid girl.
Enough is enough,
it is,
its is.

I've really been enjoying your poem and the emotions and imagery were so vivid that i could easily picture them as beautiful illustration. Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Meanwhile, I greet you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Be blessed.
