Secret's Out

Cloak and dagger for your eyes alone,
Your arrogance will pull you down like a stone;
And power will be lost if the people are told,
Then all of your plans will be left out in the cold.

Those ivory towers will crumble to dust,
When the truth filters out as one day it must;
Once great institutions will drown in the mire,
All washed away by the maelstrom of fire!

Lies and half truths exposed to the light,
All of the liars then put to flight;
Then a new dawn of truth and freedom will rise,
Devoid of oppression and all of the lies.

Time's almost done the secret is out,
And for those who would stop it, let there be no doubt;
The game's almost up and they've finally lost,
But to get to this point, was it all worth the cost?
