I Know I'Ll Get Over You

I'm caught in a web and I can't break through

I'm trying to get free, to let go of you

Stuck between a rock and a hard place

My memory holds that smile on your face,

I love you so much I need you to know

that's why it's hard to try and let go

I wanted you to be my start and my end

to let go of love, I leave my best friend

The feeling you gave me, it's hard to find

it's being unique, being one of a kind

I'm caught in a web and I can't break through

but one day I know I'll get over you

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Meanwhile, I greet you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Be blessed.

"Caught in a web and I can't break through." I can so relate to this lovely rhyme.
