Never To Forget

As I look into your eyes,
I can see and feel the pain
that you carry inside.
There’s no need for words,
I see it hiding there.
This storm is raging
stealing all your memories
as it grows out of control.
I feel powerless to stop it,
and make it go away.
I’ll take lots of pictures
for you, and I’ll write
everything down to.
I won’t ever let you forget.
