Heaven Sent

You stole my heart from the beginning, you made me laugh.
You’re in my thoughts every day; let’s make this last.
I never saw it coming; you are the perfect fit,
To be with me would be my only wish.

I have a bad day, you make me smile
Time with you is worthwhile.
No one has a better personality on file,
You make fun of my corny jokes once in a while.

I love your company and the times we share.
I always have you in my prayers.
You’re the girl that’s better than the rest.
I want to take you out, you deserve the best.

You’re my favorite song playing in my head.
When the day is over I get into bed.
If I can’t see you I dream of you instead.
I hope that I did not leave anything unsaid.
