If Only You Would Speak

Don’t you walk away from me
 When words should suffice
Don’t you turn away from me
When you should hold me close
Don’t you go away from me
When I still feel for you

This loud silence echoes
Threatens to split my head after my heart by you
My tears I shed
For you, for what should be and us

You are here yet you are gone
To another you have given your heart
Left me without a cleft
Yet you remain with me
Your presence only pains me

You love somebody else yet you won’t tell me the truth
I ask and you don’t respond
Why do you torture me?
Remain here while you want to leave

Pretend that alls the same
Yet your loves gone cold for me
Why do you hurt me so?
Your silence will not speak
Yet it means more than you can ever say
