TRAPPED

She wants freedom
She wants out
She wants assurance
Without the feeling of doubt
She wants someone to pour into
She wants something that sticks like glue

TRAPPED

Nowhere to go
No one to fill
After all this time
Will she be wanted still?
Is it you or you or you
She thought it was you
But that wasn’t true

TRAPPED

She’s praying
She’s banging
She wants out!
Do you see her?
Can you hear her shout?
Although persistent
And beautifully wrapped
Nothing changes the fact that she’s

TRAPPED
