Silence In the Noise

Cries are loud but it doesn't bother me,
Among it all is chaos and calamity.
You sit there arms crossed; jaw clenched tight,
Depression stains your face like stars stain the night.
Brutal words escape so innocently,
Hurting you just like how you hurt me.
Whispers echo throughout my thoughts,
And the silence is deafening; so lonely i walk.

Among the noise is a silence so painful i scream for relief,
I am like a tree,; Bare without it's leaves.
The sent of pain pollutes my air,
The sounds of hurt overfill my ear.
Unaware of where to now turn,
I'm trapped in your flames left to burn.
Like a soldiers whose riffle is cocked,
I am fading my heart has stopped.
