Crying

As the moon set in
crying could be heard in the distance
a love long since lost
but alas not forgotten
Her tears could be heard in the dead of night
when all was quite and nothing was right
The crying did not stop,
even when the light of the sun approached
Tears could be heard falling in the noon of the next day,
what do you think, had broken the small heart of this maid?
I guess we shall never know,
for in the days to follow
that crying sound did stop,
And that i do declare, was quite a miracle in itself.
