Trust

If I trust myself, does it make life easier
If I give myself the benefit of the doubt
Would I become superior
If I trust, do I lose
Does the world collapse into
A fragment of the life we once lived and loved and knew
If I’m broken, can I keep
Loving everything I’ve done to me
I change the way I walk
The way I stand
The way I notice things I can’t
Become and everything feels heavy
Collapsing in on my own body
If I trust, do I loose
Every wall I’ve built
If I trust, do I lose
What I made myself into
If I trust myself instead of you
Would I lose myself to guilt
Everything I have
Everything I built
Will my world all fall apart
Again
