I Loved and I Lost

its been a long time coming
a train full speed ahead
watching in slow motion as you witness the beautiful collision
left behind burnt memories of the past

somehow you took a hold of my heart
with eyes closed i followed you anywhere
everywhere
till thoughts of you consumed me

love that burned with a fiery hot passion
glowing vibrant shades of red

even in the dark i still sought you
seeking this love we made

tore you are
confused
seeking attention i must of not gave
old flames that you tried to re kindal

was it a mistake loving me ?
did you chose wrongly in doing so
second guess who held your heart
was it me
or was it always her?

these things ill never truly know

wasted time
i no longer can get back
in waiting for you to show me you cared that your changing , growing

whom shall the blame lay favor to
is it you
or it is it i?
for falling in love with my heart open wide

.......

i no longer feel your grip on me
you broke the spell
maybe you where only try to free me
and you too from our fatal attraction
casting shadows in my mind

full to the top
i feel as i might break
anger makes no ones peace
yet it seems to be all i seek

to love you or to hate you it seems like is all i have left
i wanna fall somewhere in between love and hate
and gain a lesson yet lose my lover ..
for i am glad i have loved you with this its no regrets
whats left behind is my mess to pick up and your to walk away from
