On My Way

On My Way

As I kneeled, and began to pray
Father; please help me find my way
Please dear Lord, please let me in
Please forgive me of all my sin.

Father I beg you, won’t you please
I’m down here on my bended knees
Help me; give me a brand new start
Please dear Lord, please enter my heart
Then I heard it… that voice within
Whispering you are forgiven of all your sin

Pray unto me, through my son
Pour out your heart my loving one
Pray unto me morning and night
And soon you will see the Eternal Light

Oh my dear child where have you been?
I have been here waiting to let you in.

So back to the gospel I was led
As I began to learn what I read
Become as a child, come unto me
Jesus, my savior he died for me
Father I will be your servant
Always faithful, strong and fervent

I will keep your commandments, every one
I love you father and your son
For all the things that have been done
On thy path, I am sure to stay
Into the water Lord, I’m on way my!
