A Dream
Truly beautiful she was; I saw from afar
I seek closeness yet she belongs to the star
Such enthralling blush of her tulips brown
And such glossy hair by her twinkling crown
Certainly her violet eyes are nymph of serenity
That surely would lure me beyond eternity
I parted my heart's desire to the gentle stream
While she softly hummed and loitered within my dream
Merely a dream is I could hold her courteous hand
And wander within our laughter over my fairyland
O' these heart's desire so blazing and fiery
Much like a blossoms of gorse; golden and glittery
I crawled within my dream and watched her waves of a sea
And watched her with my weary eyes across the same lea
Beneath the same pearly clouds and sphery moon
I loved this quiet evenfall and her
soothened croon
With gladness I laid beneath the Hawthorn and see her go
While she soflty sailed to where my rivers never flow-
And I parted my heart's desire to the gentle stream
And it speaks,'Tis a love not merely a dream'
