As the Pen Flows
The mark on your face ,from a war long ago
as you keep singing your pain
as i can only know
I wanted to keep you safe
still didnt know where to grow
so you left and i stayed
burning bridges as we go
you kept me safe in your long and last embrace
only i cant escape
what we always show
a weakness of my brain
pills dropped and flow
changing me every day
and you were the last to know
