My Thesis Defense

I just want to have the chance to act the same as they did,
and look at their faces.
But I don’t think I have an ego to match…
But, at least, I would offer them the chance to sit in my Chair.
Honestly, I don’t think they would manage well.

I wish you could’ve seen their hungry faces
staring at me,
praying for my failure,
waiting for their EGOs to be fed.

I wish you could’ve had the chance to see their faces…
And their EGOs bouncing off the walls… how did they get through the doorway?
And I permitted them.
No other choice.

You'd better learn how to control your EGO!!

I was enjoying it…Together with my Champion…
You should’ve seen my Champion’s face…
Not so much if-looks-could-kill… but the two of us, sharing a private joke…

They have spent years waiting for these moments, this moment…
I mean, One Hour.
Maybe remembering their own and then going home to kick the dog…

I was nervous at first.
But didn’t show it…
Didn’t give them the satisfaction.

They spent One Hour of their life with me on Trial…
And they enjoyed it.
Obviously, I was a considerable burden to deal with…

I was the black sheep.
And I enjoyed it…
I knew what I was talking about.

Should I be happy or not?
Ha! I loved it!
I thought for just a moment… should I thank them?
Well…
