Emotionless

When you look at me
I bet you don't see
My pain, hate and loss
Because I keep it in a vase.
Hidden away from the world
I know that it is unheard of
But it works for me.
I wish I was who I wanted to be,
But all people do is hate,
Once in a while
I wish I could smile,
Maybe sadness is my fate.
Now I'll bet you'll never guess
Why people call me emotionless.

I would like to welcome you to PoetrySoup Natalie. If you would like to have more of your poetry read please limit your postings to 3-5 poems per day. In doing this more of your poetry is read and other poets can also have theirs read. Wishing you the best in your writing endeavors. If you have questions please feel free to ask anyone here. We are all willing to help and if we don't know the answer we will find someone who does. Love, Carol
