Birdy

As beautiful as it seems, it does not want to fly away and be free, The wind sings a serenade to sway you with glee. Leave the fortress where you have imprisoned your kind, Blinding darkness fills with the echoes of wind rushing through the leaves of what you call the dreamland.

You don't belong in a tower governed by birds who do not dare to speak of freedom.

See the glances of the golden rays, it looks at you with a pitiful gaze. Your shadows mock you for fearing the greatness of height, you hold imaginations of a perfect sanctuary behind a place that cannot hold life. Let the universe pull you into a warm embrace, and see the galaxies underneath your veins. Look at the skies as they shine so bright, soar as high let your feathers leave a trail behind.
