Always Him
How I love him, let me tell,
A simple story, known so well,
Just in my heart, a constant light,
He makes my world feel warm and bright.
He cares for me, in gentle ways,
Through sunny days and stormy grays,
A steady hand, a loving gaze,
He lifts me up through life's long maze.
Could I ask for more, or better be?
No, not from all eternity.
He is the best, my guiding star,
He mends the pieces, near and far.
Money fades, it means so little,
Compared to his laugh, his playful whittle.
Possessions pale, they lose their gleam,
He is my wealth, my waking dream.
Nothing matters, only him,
My joy, my hope, my constant hymn.
The world outside can rush and roar,
But his love holds me to the shore.
I love the way he cares for me,
A gentle touch, for all to see.
The little things, the thoughtful deed,
Planting happiness, like a tiny seed.
He never judges, never scorns,
He listens deeply, until dawn.
My secrets safe, within his hold,
A story whispered, to him told.
With patient ears, and open heart,
He plays for me a loving part.
He offers solace, calms my fears,
And wipes away all of my tears.
There's no sadness when he's around,
My feet are planted on solid ground.
He chases shadows from the air,
And fills my life with joy to share.
He's more than love, he's my boyfriend,
A journey with him, without end.
My everything, my truest north,
And in his love, my soul finds worth.
