The chicken and the dirty puddle

The dark blue sky casts rain upon the farm
Thousands of droplets wetting the farmland below
Plants drinking from the rainfall, grass and dirty turning squishy and muddy
The wood on the barn absorbs the water as it continues the downpour
Next to the barn, a brown puddle slowly starts to form

Inside the barn, the animals lay, either sleeping or waiting till the drizzle ends
Except for one…
The barn door creaks open, out comes a lonely chicken
Wandering outside and around, in the sprinkle
Its whole body is wet
Flapping its wing is ten times harder now
“Cluck” says the chicken
It continues the journey through the muzzle
Until it stumbles upon the dirty puddle.

“Cluck- Cluck- Cluck” says the chicken once more in curiosity
The Hen decides to step into the murky puddle
Splash!
Splash Splash Splash!
The Chicken splashes and stomps around in the puddle
The dirty puddle dirtying its feet and feathers.
The barn door creaks open…

The hen immediately turns towards the door
A flock of chickens has also left the warmth of the barn
They walk towards the lone hen
Stepping on the puddle, joining him in the splashing
Together they splash in the muddy puddle together, as chickens.
