Deliverance
I have watched in fascination...
Witnessed errors in their ways...
I’ve even written poems bout
The endless games they plays.
I’m talking strictly politics
As politicians come and go,
What their motives and their metal
Represent to men like Joe...
Joe the plumber he’s the guy
His names even in the news...
One minute he’s a hero
Then he’s critically abused.
I can’t believe the pundits
Cause they lie to me each day...
They want me to pick a side...
But they don’t want me to play.
It’s tough to want to follow...
Someone who’s weaving like drunk...
From side to side on point by point,
Their indecision it’s pure junk.
They fear their own opinions,
But they don’t consider mine.
Their fear it manifests itself,
By how oft they change their minds...
One minute they’re all for it,
Then we read between the lines...
Their words were taken out of context,
Now we know they’ve got no spines.
They’ve lied so well and for so long...
And They've the benefit of doubt,
It’s time we as Americans...
Just throw all of the bums out.
