Old Dreams, New Light

In olden days, in those years past,
We dreamt of something new.
Perhaps it was a fleeting thought,
Something we soon outgrew.
But our former dreams are meant to be resurrected,
In a fresh light, apart from all
The troubling things that are connected
With the things we once knew.
