Never Empty

Maybe they just want to take,
and all I want is to give.
Yet their jar never filled,
and mine never emptied.

However, I've still got a lot to give:
to the little souls,
to the struggling hands,
and to the heats needing kindness.

So whether or not they stop taking more,
I'm never going to quit giving.
Maybe their rule of life is taking,
but giving is my life's purpose.
