Purple Dreams In Other Realms

Once upon a magical evening an enchanted fairy I happened to see
dressed in a fantastical dress with two dappled wings of lace,
she shone like the midnight sun;

I must confess, she looked rather whimsical
sitting there by a green wooden door, waiting for your lore !

And with no persuasion but thrill did I start off,
To speak of what ever this fairy desired to hear.
As soon as I was given the audience did I speak of what I held back as though I waited all my life to speak at that moment.

Inspired by her compelling grace and charm did I begin a tale that I deemed fit to be heard only by a few,
"Once", I began " in a land, lived a man who saw something he couldn't share;
A beauty he couldn't afford to tell about and a power he craved for only himself but he had to let go of his ambition and share with his people for they were lost before now and with what he knew things changed for good both for him and his people, which was a wonderful thing to behold and know off".
I spoke and said this little tale and to my surprise this enchanting fairy loved it through and through,
This is a relief I hoped for and I got a price too, her smile it was.
