Music of Our Soul

As the piano begins to softly play,
We begin to write the lyrics to our song.
I cannot help but think of how life will be,
like an frozen dance floor slowly beginning to fill
with the echoing sounds of music,
and the prisoners of silence will begin to turn and be moved,
and will start to dance in the dusty ballroom,
slowly becoming light.
We find our rhythm and the melody of love
and begin to create the finished product,
and we join the dancers on the floor
and begin to play our song.
Together we have found the music of our soul.
