I Miss You

It was a cold winter night
I could feel my skin form goose bumps.
I felt a wave come over me
As if there was something wrong.
You told me to call 9-1-1
You also told me to give you a kiss
You didn't know if you were going to
Return home. The ambulance
Picked you up. I regretted not
Riding along. If I would of went. I would
Of had a chance to say goodbye.
Before long, he would be highly medicated.
I miss him every day. Now that your gone
I have no choice but to move on. I miss you
My darling but In this life I have to be strong.
