Thinking Twice

I try not to let it phase me/ but
The pain is amazing/
See these everyday tragedies are driving me crazy/
Like a baby in Haiti/
Forced to live daily/
With no food or water/
Hows ya steak, is it tasty?/
Hows the picture I'm painting?/
Is it making you think/
Twice, about, how ya life might not stink/
You see, there's people in this world/
Little boys and little girls/
With no shoes on their feet/
While your flaunting wit ya pearls/
And I'm not saying that to hate on anybody who is rich/
I'm just saying that so yall can think twice about the kids/
See all they really want, is a meal on their plate/
Maybe even a toy, put a smile on their face/
After that comes faith, and thats all it really takes/
Its a barrier no earthquake or hurricane could break/
So let it in your heart, let the Lord do the rest/
And I promise you will make it, no matter what the test/
No matter what your facing it'll get you through the day/
From Haiti, to New Orleans, it don't matter where you stay.
