The Eye

They’re watching I can feel it.
It watches when I sit,
When I speak,
When I breathe.
I catch glimpses in the corner of my eye,
In the dead of night.
Even in the light,
I cannot escape their sight.
It’s haunting,
Its very presence is daunting.
When they’re close I hear static,
My mind goes frantic.
as i panic.
 in silence…
For no one can feel it but me.
This entity is in my home,
But I must face it alone.
I wish it would let me be.
But I cannot be angry,
As I prepare to say goodbye
After all, I was never safe from the eye.
