The Rivers Current
There I was bobbing up and down trying to keep afloat or I would surely drown, thinking of all the things I should have done and what I disallowed. The water was deep and this I know cause I couldn't touch the ground. The current was very strong because it had just rained. I knew I was in trouble and had done everything wrong. I swam against the current yelling for someone to save me while yelling I swallowed a lot of water and swimming against the current in just a few minutes I was beat! I grabbed on to a huge tree with my left arm and the current was sucking me down to the huge trees roots beneath...I knew if I got tangled up I'd surely die today I almost let go and I decided I would but I heard a high pitched voice say " If you let go, your not coming back up." I freaked out cause I didn't have time to think much less say anything and I know for sure it was not me! I decided I wasn't going to die that day and used the last of my strength to pull myself up on that muddy river bank shaking like a tree, I had never came so close to death and thank God that voice I heard that day saved my life for sure. It had to be an Angel looking after me that day for sure and I couldn't believe it when I looked at my left arm that should have been all scratched up, didn't have a single mark or scratch that I can't explain!
