consecration

In the world we live in,
Where humanity's power reigns supreme,
Adam's plight often goes unseen.
Men, women, and children caught in the web of strife,
Oppressed by those with power and life.
In lands torn by conflict, liberty is a distant dream,
As bombs shatter homes and screams pierce the scene.
In a place where shadows loom, they stand tall,
Fighting for freedom, answering the call.
In quiet corners where tears flow,
They cling to hope, refusing to let go.
They dream of peace and a bright day,
Ready for everything, come what may.
In the whispers of the wind, their stories told,
Of courage, of bravery, of hearts bold.
In the world we live in, where justice seems lost,
The voices of the oppressed bear the cost.
But amidst the chaos, hope flickers still,
For in the hearts of the oppressed lies a firm will.
So let us not forget the struggles they endure,
And strive to build a world where justice is sure.
For the world we live in,
It's not enough to stand by,
We must take action and let justice fly.

I welcome you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Dreamers won't get their wish unless they place their trust in the Son of Man, Jesus. Man-made peace is an illusion. Nice poem. Welcome to PS!
