To Fail and Remember Me

To Fail

My will

I have lost

To every person

Spread the message

Go

To the Black seas of sorrow

Go even from our homes

Yea, from the peaks of glory

Which will sink beneath the waves

Even our agony

The sorrows in our souls

Will work together against

All of us

To change the world

They do go forth

To share the news

My messengers of the sorrow

So go forth my fellows

Listen to them

Because we have refused to

Fight against them

Breath in the pains

Drink in the sorrow

Behold the griefs of the world

Do not

Remember Me

Read the poem backwards where “Remember me” is the title and “To fail” is the last line. I’m really proud of this poem and it was really hard to write. I want at least someone to see the full thing.
