Hourglass

Was it just an Hourglass, waiting to expire?
Because our memories now only suffocate me,
Only then did I feel true desire.
Now everything has faded to nothing; lonely.

Rainy days, struggling to kill time,
While time is just quietly numbing my mind.
Our times together just flow to the bottom along with the sand,
Can't feel the touch of her porcelain hand.

Time passes, time heals the scars.
I just wait, locked behind my own bars.
Turning the hourglass over and over,
Letting our times spill again and again,
Because shes someone I will never get over.
