Broken Heart

Every night I lay wide-awake.
My heart just sits here and aches.
Something has me in this strain,
But I can handle this pain.

The pain slowly came.
For you are the one I blame.
I might say I am a rebel,
But when the pain hits its pure hell!

You used to make my life complete.
Now all the memories are bittersweet.
After that it is just sour.
The pain is compared to jumping off the Eiffel Tower.

I’ll never make you feel the pain you left me.
Because I still love you, don’t you see?
So now you say bye and just impart.
While you leave me alone with a broken heart…
