Sweeter Goodbye

i deserved a sweeter goodbye
one with less bruises
more understanding
less poison

but what could i expect
when your tongue is laced with it
and your nails are sharp
and the golf club has never left your hand

Poignant, piercing, painful. A powerful write. Try Ho’oponopono if forgiveness issues are involved. God bless.
