The House
The House
The house protects me from the freezing cold
It keeps me warm by breathing its warm air on me
In return it asks clean windows and polished floors
They say a man’s home is his castle, but it’s really the woman
Who rips up the old carpet, who remodels the kitchen and puts prose on the kitchen wall that
says:
“For Health and family, for good food and fun,
For staying young while growing old
We give Thee thanks.”
