It's A Global Catastrophe

They say global warming isn't real
And you shouldn't believe in chemtrails
But I swear that's acid rain
And why does our air smell so strange
Our water has so many chemicals
It's no longer safe to even drink
There's so much pollution and the smog covers everything
If you can't tell for yourself that every year it keeps getting hot as hell
Honestly last winter how much snow do you think actually fell
I bet we hardly even got an inch on the ground
I'm just like wow
I can remember as a kid it use to be feet deep
And I know it isn't only me
How can you not see
I mean this weather is just about as crazy as it can be
Record breaking hurricanes
And tsunamis that reach like 100 feet
Flooding inland to places you wouldn't even believe it could reach
There's no way people are this blind
It's an environmental crisis
Yet everyone just turns a blind eye
We gotta stop pretending this isn't happening and take action before we're out of time
Stop passing off our environmental hazards onto the next guy
As a matter of fact I can't even recall the last time i seen a clear sky
It's no wonder why
We're facing this situation
I don't mean to sound like I'm complaining but I'm just thinking it's just amazing
No one even cares
I mention global warming and all I get are blank stares
And for our future generations it just ain't fair
So there
I've said my peace
I'm not trying to preach
And hopefully someone is listening and some of you I've reached
And maybe at least some of these things I say you can learn to
appreciate
