Released From this Inner Fight

I feel so weak,
No strength to fight,
It's all left my body,
Out like a light,

I'd hope to find a cure,
That this day wouldn't come,
But now I'm too tired,
To reach out to someone,

I know they all cry,
Probably scream and not understand,
I promise I tried my best,
I'm okay with this end,

There'll be no more pain,
Not for me atleast,
I'm so sorry,
I just need this release,

I'll leave a note,
So you know it wasn't you,
I don't want you to think,
There was anything you could do,

My love will never waver,
It's now just from afar,
I know you can feel me,
I'm where ever you are,

You'll see me again,
In a much better light,
Free and unburdened,
From this inner fight.
