Eden

Eden
Your love is like a lantern, in life's midnight garden, you're beauty it stands all alone.

Shining through darkness, your ivy it grabs us, and leads us the way to go home.

As we push through the hedgerow, exposing the roses, it's fragrance reminds me of youth.

Now a Robin she sits at the edge of a window, her reflection is of me and of you.

Singing us to morning, her beauty is awing, as the sun burns the last of the dew.

Time starts deceiving, so our memories are leaving a seed that will someday bear fruit.

This is our Eden, this life we are weaving. The garden is because of you two.
